Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Shape the cookie dough into 1 ½ balls (about 2 tablespoons) and place on the cookie sheet leaving at least two inches between each. You should be able to get about 12 cookies from one tube of dough.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are done.
Remove from the oven, and cool completely.
Add red food coloring to the frosting until you get a blood red color.
Cut each chocolate chip cookie in half and spread the underside of each half with a thin layer of red frosting. Then arrange 6 or 7 mini marshmallows along the round edge of half of the frosted cookies (to look like teeth). Cover with a second frosted cookie to create a cookie sandwich shaped like Dracula's mouth.
Place two pointy slivered almonds into the teeth to look like fangs.
Notes
Work quickly so that the icing doesn't have time to dry before you stick the cookies and marshmallow teeth together. It's best to decorate just 1 or 2 cookies at a time.
You can make Dracula teeth with homemade chocolate chip cookies, or any flavor of refrigerated cookie dough.
Instead of vanilla frosting and red food coloring, look for red decorating icing in the baking aisle, or the seasonal section.
To make these cookies nut-free, use white chocolate melting wafers, cut into small pieces, in place of the almond fangs.
